Featured violet: species, Saintpaulia grotei, 'Silvert Clone'

This is one of the grandads of African violet breeding.
It a species violet which means that it was originally
collected from the wild.  It is a trailing violet and many
of present day trailers are descended from this one.
Pixie Blue Trail is very much like this species and I suspect
it has S. grotei as one of it's ancestors.

It hasn't trailed much since I got it, but it has beautiful, little

blue flowers that often cover the plant.

Nature, single blue, plain green, miniature trailer
