Yes, I still ship violets in the winter. Here are the particulars:
Starting November 2, winter shipping rates will apply. 8 violets will ship for 12.00 east of the Mississippi and 14.00 for west of it. This includes postage, heat pack, and 4" building insulation. I have had great success with winter shipping. This method has allowed plants to sit on porches in below zero weather (not recommended). Because I guarantee live delivery, I reserve the right to determine weather to be too hazardous to ship and will hold the violets until I deem it to be safe to send. Expect some delays if the northeast experiences severe winter weather.
